Edit & Proof IDP Connect is a higher education marketing company who operate leading student-facing websites such as Whatuni?, Postgraduatesearch and Hotcourses Abroad.
As the ongoing editor for one of their major content streams, I’ve edited over 850 pieces for the above sites. I work at the junction between HE providers who commission the pieces, a roster of freelance writers, and IDP Connect account management.
My regular activities include developing and ensuring compliance with site-specific style guides, copyediting and proofing new content or client changes, working with writers to maintain quality and reader value in their work.
IDP Connect 
I was contracted to provide copyediting and proofing services for the upcoming Rough Guides publication, The Pocket Rough Guide to Paris.
My role covered over 100 locations, activities, sites and neighbourhoods. It included ensuring that the whole text complied with RG’s very specific language, formatting and style guidelines, as well as grammar and spelling checks, sentence structuring and overall readability.
